Social-Emotional Assessment
This type of assessment is typically used to assess children or youth who are displaying behaviors such as:
- Excessive anxiety or worry
- Sadness, significant irritability or poor self esteem
- Peer/Social difficulties
- Problem Behaviors
- Symptoms associated with emotional or behavioral disorders
- Attention Issues
- Social communication difficulties

Psycho-Educational Assessment
This consists of an assessment of psychological aspects of learning and academic skills. Psychological aspects include:
- Intelligence (cognitive ability)
- Verbal and visual learning
- Memory
- Attention/concentration
- Visual-motor integration (eye-hand coordination for pencil-paper tasks)
- Planning and organizational skills
- After Planning and organizational skills
- Executive Functioning (working memory, flexible thinking, self-control)
- Behaviour Rating Scales (parent and teacher)
Academic skills include:
- Reading (phonetic skills, sight vocabulary, reading comprehension & fluency)
- Writing
- Spelling
- Mathematics (calculation skills & word problems)
