Meet Helen Daymond
Whether it’s a mental health check-up/tune up, a proactive approach to dealing with problems that are just beginning to emerge or more serious and potentially ongoing mental health concerns requiring psychological assessment and treatment, we’re here to help!
After all, everyone could use help with something that would make things go better in their lives. At ACCESS Psychology we normalize the process of accessing therapy and counselling services, whatever the presenting issue may be.
Beginning with the moment clients walk in the front door of our home-like office environment, they are immediately put at ease when stepping into our bright & cheery waiting room which feels more like a home than a sterile office setting.

At ACCESS Psychology we offer services that deal with a wide range of behavioural, social-emotional and developmental issues. At our Port Perry location, we provide psychoeducational and behavioural assessments to help identify and address learning difficulties and behavioural problems that interfere with school success. These comprehensive assessments highlight strengths and weaknesses within the young person’s learning profile. Barriers to success in school such as learning disabilities, attention and behavioural difficulties associated with ADHD and social/communication difficulties related to Autism Spectrum Disorders can be identified through the assessment process. Recommendations for home as well as school programming are then provided, along with community resources and treatment options.
